Basic Dressage

Dear Members,

We are planning to hold a mini-camp for club members in August this year. Places will be open to any club member aged between 10 and 15 (age as at 1st January 2010) who is able to catch, tack and care for their own pony.

Ponies must be insured and have full vaccinations. Places will be limited and will be allocated on a random basis after the closing date for applications. Any member who is not allocated a place will be put on a reserve list.

The camp will be run from the morning of Sunday August 8th until the afternoon of Wednesday August 11th.

Activities may include a mixture of instruction in jumping, dressage, cross country and games, demonstrations of show turn out, lungeing, long reining and farriery, hacking out, quizzes, field management etc.

A schedule will be made available before the camp begins. All meals will be provided but members will need to arrange their own accommodation (i.e. tent, caravan, horsebox).

The charge for this camp will be £65 per member and pony.
